Travelling.... part 2 (lots of pics......)

I was going to this Lancaster County part in 2 parts, but decided I would give it to you  all at once. There was so much to see in 2 days, it just was not long enough. So with the little bit we saw (the tons of photos I took) and fell in love with this area, I have decided that I have to put it onto the itinerary for next time (yes there IS a next time)
The Pennsylvania Welcome Centre
The Welcome Centre overlooks the Tioga Reservoir and township
I continued doing my daily morning walk (if you are on facebook you will know I'm on a mission now, for those of you who don't know, I have been walking everyday for the past 2 and half years.........mandatory health thing has turned into a bit of an obssession, I not missed a day, so I was determined to not miss a day while in the USA either!! Too close to 1000 straight to miss one !!)

Walking around the back of Ronks in the morning was bliss. Saw a lot of the Amish doing their daily chores, the children running to school, that was so special see :-D (sorry no photos of that), it was just a wonderful experience.

 A farm

A moveable chicken coop

Shopping at this place was just......ummmmm yep!! Could have spent all my pennies there!!

Love this

Homes around

The Mill and Herr's Mill Bridge below
Could never get enough of this view!!

....or this

....or this

Perfect end to 2 wonderful days

?? a red breasted robin, saw lots of these

and this not so great photo is the only half decent pic I managed to take of a Cardinal......... which is now officially my 'favourite' bird!!! They are sooooo cute!!!
I must find a table-runner/quilt/stitchery pattern or something with them on. I looked but didn't find anything. I'm sure I will, just need to keep my eyes open.

Next stop Lynchburg VA and Bedford PA

Till next time

Oh so close but yet so far away :( Wish we could have met up when you were here. I know you have been walking (good for you) I've been faithfully walking or doing a video every day for a month now and I hope to keep going.
Wonderful shots of your visit, can't wait to see more.
